Drives that run to schedule, from first email to offer letter
A drive is a logistics exercise wearing an academic costume. The recruiter remembers whether the room was ready, the list was accurate and the results came out on time, and that memory decides whether they return next year.
In short
What is campus drives?
Campus recruitment drive management is the operational running of a recruiter's visit to a campus: outreach, date confirmation, eligibility filtering, pre-placement talk, test and interview logistics, panel coordination and offer tracking. BridgePoint manages drives on-campus, virtual and pooled across institutions, confirming recruiter dates 8–12 weeks ahead and closing each drive with a written report within five working days.

Scope
How engagements are shaped
Single-recruiter drive
One employer, one to three days, on-campus or virtual. The standard unit of a placement season.
Pooled drive
Smaller institutions combine student pools so a recruiter gets viable numbers. Common and effective for tier-2 and tier-3 colleges.
Placement week
A concentrated season block with parallel tracks, shared infrastructure and a single control desk.
Virtual drive
Remote tests and interview panels, proctoring and bandwidth contingency planned in advance.

Process
How the work runs
Understand
A working session on what you actually need — the role, the mandate or the outcome. We put the brief in writing and you sign it off before work starts.
Plan
A scoped plan with owners, timelines and the numbers we will report against. If the brief is unrealistic on budget, market or timeline, we say so here.
Execute
Delivery against the plan, with a weekly written update whether or not there is good news. Silence is not a status report.
Review
Results measured against what we agreed at the start, with an honest read on what worked, what did not, and what we would change next cycle.
FAQ
Campus Drives — questions
How far in advance should a drive be scheduled?
Aim to confirm dates eight to twelve weeks ahead. Recruiters build campus calendars in blocks, and a request three weeks out usually gets a polite deferral to next year. Locking early also lets you resolve clashes with internal exams on paper.
What is a pooled drive and does it actually work?
Several colleges combine their eligible students so a recruiter sees a viable pool at one location. It works well for tier-2 and tier-3 institutions where no single campus justifies a visit. The two things that decide success are honest eligibility filtering and one institution clearly owning the logistics.
Can you run virtual drives?
Yes. Virtual drives need more preparation than on-campus ones, not less — test platform access, proctoring rules, a bandwidth contingency and a backup lab on campus for students without stable connectivity at home.
Why do recruiters stop visiting a campus?
In our experience it is rarely the students. It is usually an inaccurate eligibility list, a delayed or disorganised drive day, students not turning up after shortlisting, or offer declines that were not communicated. All four are process problems and all four are fixable.
Do you handle the offer stage as well?
We track it. Every offer is recorded with accept or decline status and joining confirmation, and we follow up on offer-holders through to joining. Declines after acceptance damage the recruiter relationship more than a weak drive does, so they are worth watching.
