Portfolio & Project Management

Events are judged on who showed up, not on the stage design

An event with a good stage and the wrong audience is an expensive photograph. The work that decides an event's value happens in the four weeks before it.

In short

What is events & campaigns?

Event and campaign management covers planning and running an event end to end: objective and audience definition, venue and vendor coordination, invitation and registration campaigns, on-day execution, and post-event reporting. BridgePoint runs job fairs, campus conclaves, hiring drives, launches and industry sessions for companies and institutions, typically over a four-to-eight week lead time, with attendance and outcome numbers reported afterwards.

What's included

What you actually get

Every item below is part of the standard engagement, not an upsell.

01

Objective and audience

Who needs to be in the room for this to have been worth doing, and what they should do next. Set before anything is booked.
02

Planning and budget

A dated run-up plan and a line-item budget, so cost surprises surface in week one rather than on invoice day.
03

Vendor and venue

Venue, AV, catering, print, branding and logistics coordinated and chased. One point of accountability rather than six vendor threads.
04

Invitation campaign

Targeted outreach with registration tracking and reminder sequences. Attendance is a campaign outcome, not luck.
05

On-day execution

Run sheet, registration desk, speaker and panel management, and someone whose only job is to handle what goes wrong.
06

Post-event reporting

Attendance against target, engagement, leads or offers generated, spend against budget, and what to change next time.

Scope

How engagements are shaped

30–80 people

Focused session

Guest lecture, industry talk, workshop or pre-placement session.

100–500 candidates

Hiring drive

Walk-in or scheduled drive with screening stations, panels and same-day offers.

500+ attendees

Job fair / conclave

Multi-recruiter fair or industry conclave with parallel tracks and exhibitor management.

Multi-city

Campaign activation

A series run across locations to one plan and one reporting view.

  • Written event brief with objective, audience and success measures
  • Dated run-up plan and line-item budget
  • Vendor and venue coordination under one point of contact
  • Invitation campaign with registration and reminder tracking

Process

How the work runs

01

Understand

A working session on what you actually need — the role, the mandate or the outcome. We put the brief in writing and you sign it off before work starts.

02

Plan

A scoped plan with owners, timelines and the numbers we will report against. If the brief is unrealistic on budget, market or timeline, we say so here.

03

Execute

Delivery against the plan, with a weekly written update whether or not there is good news. Silence is not a status report.

04

Review

Results measured against what we agreed at the start, with an honest read on what worked, what did not, and what we would change next cycle.

FAQ

Events & Campaigns — questions

How far in advance should we plan an event?

Four to eight weeks for a focused session or hiring drive. Ten to twelve weeks for a job fair or conclave, because recruiter and speaker calendars are set that far ahead and confirmations drive everything else.

What usually goes wrong?

Attendance. Registration numbers are not attendance numbers — a thirty to forty percent drop-off between registration and arrival is normal without reminder sequences, which is why the invitation campaign matters more than the stage.

Do you handle vendors and payments?

We coordinate vendors and chase delivery. Payments can run through you directly, which most clients prefer, or through us with costs billed at actuals plus an agreed management fee.

Can you run virtual and hybrid events?

Yes. Virtual removes venue cost and adds attention cost — drop-off after the first fifteen minutes is the metric that matters, so the format has to be built around shorter segments and real interaction.

What do you report afterwards?

Attendance against target, engagement during the event, outcomes such as leads, interviews or offers, spend against budget, and a specific list of what we would change next time.
