Process

How the work runs

The same four stages apply across every practice, adapted to the mandate.

01

Understand

A working session on what you actually need — the role, the mandate or the outcome. We put the brief in writing and you sign it off before work starts.

02

Plan

A scoped plan with owners, timelines and the numbers we will report against. If the brief is unrealistic on budget, market or timeline, we say so here.

03

Execute

Delivery against the plan, with a weekly written update whether or not there is good news. Silence is not a status report.

04

Review

Results measured against what we agreed at the start, with an honest read on what worked, what did not, and what we would change next cycle.

FAQ

University & Career Solutions — questions

When should we start preparing for the placement season?

Four to six months before your first drive. Recruiter hiring plans for campus are usually locked a quarter ahead, and the institutions that get the better slots are the ones that made contact before the plan closed. Starting in the same month as your drives means taking whatever dates are left.

Will you replace our existing T&P cell?

No. The cell keeps ownership; we build the process, the employer map and the data discipline around it, and train the team to run it. If the cell is understaffed we say so in the audit rather than quietly absorbing the work.

How far in advance should a drive be scheduled?

Aim to confirm dates eight to twelve weeks ahead. Recruiters build campus calendars in blocks, and a request three weeks out usually gets a polite deferral to next year. Locking early also lets you resolve clashes with internal exams on paper.

What is a pooled drive and does it actually work?

Several colleges combine their eligible students so a recruiter sees a viable pool at one location. It works well for tier-2 and tier-3 institutions where no single campus justifies a visit. The two things that decide success are honest eligibility filtering and one institution clearly owning the logistics.

How do credit-linked internships work under NEP 2020?

NEP 2020 and the associated UGC guidelines treat internships as curricular components carrying credits, which means they need learning outcomes, supervision, evaluation and records — not just a completion letter. In practice that requires a written scope, an attendance or logbook trail, a mid-term review and a final assessment against a rubric. We set up all four.

Are your internships paid?

Many are, and we publish realistic stipend bands by sector and city before sourcing starts so expectations are set. Some research and NGO placements are unpaid; we say so upfront rather than letting a student discover it in week one.

Why do most MoUs produce nothing?

Because they commit to intent rather than activity. There is no named owner on either side, no dates, and no review, so once the signing event is over there is nothing to chase. We attach a dated annexure with named owners and review it quarterly, which is unglamorous and works.

How many industry partnerships does an institution actually need?

Fewer active ones than most institutions list. Six to ten partnerships delivering eight to twelve activities a year is more useful than forty signed MoUs with no calendar, and it reports better under accreditation because the evidence exists.
